What is a Guardian Home?
My intentions are to always be a small in-home breeder: However, I can only have so many dogs in my home. I do not like to breed a dog over the age of seven and new science is suggesting to stop breeding even younger. Goldendoodle, mini ALD, and poodles tend to live approximately 10-14 years.
If you live in the North Fontana area, no further than an hour away, please consider becoming a part of Grammys Puppy Love Doodles.
When you are a guardian home, you get the first pick of the litter. You are getting the absolute best puppy! I am looking not only at health and perfectly formed teeth, but looking for certain personalities, structure, conformation, coat and color traits, etc.
The puppy lives with you and is a part of your family, FOREVER. We co-own the dog—I retain breeding rights. I will breed her between the ages of 2-6 (after all health testing is done and usually by the second heat cycle). I pay for all expensive health testing and all expenses related to breeding. You pay for all normal expenses of owning a pet dog, their vet vaccinations/ grooming, training, and pet food providing an excellent home and life for her/him. After breeding approximately 3 to 4 litters, for the female (males retire by 7 years), I will have her spayed or neutered and transfer 100% ownership to you. The benefits - you are getting a socially enriched breeding quality dog with the best start in life for free after paying a refundable deposit of $500 if the puppy for any reason will not breed, you can return it to me and get your refund or pay the pet adoption fee payment or in full.
Another bonus is that I am your dog sitter (If I don’t have puppies) and dog-walking companion. I would like to maintain a relationship with “our puppy” since she will be staying with me during her whelping.
I will be raising the puppies each time because of my experience, knowledge, and advanced puppy curriculum. This is usually the best time to book that vacation and visits are always more than welcome.
She would be required to be brought to me for her mating and/or I would travel with her. There are many benefits for both of us. I would prefer not to re-home my dogs when they are done breeding. It would be in her or his best interest to remain living with the family she has known all of their lives.
Of course, there are added benefits and more details. Please contact me if this is something you would be interested in.
